I am thankful that Disco processed these pics tonight since little man is still pitiful and fighting round 2 of strep throat. These pics reflect a much happier little man. Hopeful he will have a better day tomorrow!

Giggling Green Grass
Ah . . . my absolute favorite pictures from our Colorado trip! Happy giggling kiddos in beautiful, lush, green grass. I wish our yard was a inviting as Uncle S's yard. We are making progress on our own oasis, though. Less than a year ago we still had construction trash everywhere and the kiddos couldn't even play in our yard. Now they have a semi-safe place to play with relatively little dog poop and the clubhouse/rocket slide. Good times!

Colorado #1
Right before school started we took a trip to visit Disco's brother. Our kiddos ADORE their uncle!! So they were extremely excited about this trip!
They did really well on another long car ride to get to our vacation. And they even held up better than I did while we drove A LOT through the areas surrounding Denver. This was totally a "dude" trip. Disco wanted to show them the mountains - but it was too cold and windy up top and too hot in the valley. And little man slept through most of it. The breweries were fun for everyone and the kiddos did really well wandering through the New Belgium tour. Mostly they made their own adventures everywhere we went. Although we did take them to several parks, one restaurant had a bag toss game that little man was obsessed with, and they thought the bass pro shop with all the animals was COOL.
Disco has more great pictures but these are the first installment from my camera. I picked my favs. Hopefully this week I can post the pics he took as well . . .

Day 2 of Thanksgiving
So here are a few family photos of our second day of the Thanksgiving extravaganza (day 3 of my birthday, and day 1 of Disco's birthday - we like to celebrate a lot!). Again, it was nice to enjoy the day without rushing along - little man was a bit grumpy b/c he was teething but otherwise we all had a fun time. The weather was beautiful!
